Hi

My name's Jabari!

I grew up in the southwest quad of Houston Texas in the 80's. Which.. isnt to say much different from most other subburbs in the 80's, but I am very much a product of the media there-born. Mtv, weekend cartoons, the static at the end of the broadcast day. The streetlights were my alarm - if you know, you know - and I rode my bike on the block. I have a mom and dad, still married, and a  younger sister. She has two adorable boys who.. for reasons.. are going to get the benefit of my weird for the foreseeable future.

I started this blog in Dallas, or North Dallas nod to the specific. I was a train commuter and had a good bit of time with my thoughts and a lot of what  is printed here are my musings and what not.

But now Im not there. Ive moved down to Houston and since were all about changes Im going to roll the format a bit.  I should probably be using my voice. If anything “Jabariwuzhere” is this: (subject to change)  It’s me, sharing with you, the things that I hear and see and sometimes attempt to process while I feel. Thats not always going to be what you want and for those times there is the wide wide breadth that is the internets.
